I've had a paintbrush in my hand for as long as I can remember.

Some of my earliest memories are of sitting on the floor with paint scattered around me, completely content creating for hours. When I was younger, I was always painting figures in flowing dresses. I filled sketchbooks and canvases with them without ever questioning why. Looking back now, I smile knowing how much my work has changed over the years.

The dresses disappeared.

The subjects changed.

But the heart behind them never did.

I've never wanted to paint the same thing forever because life doesn't stay the same forever. Every season has shaped me differently, and my work has naturally grown alongside it. That's why you'll never find me confined to one subject or one medium. Some stories ask to be told through paint. Others come to life through texture, photography, writing, or whatever feels most honest in that moment.

To me, that's the beauty of art.

Two people can stand in front of the exact same painting and walk away carrying completely different emotions. One person may see hope while another sees grief. One may remember someone they love while another simply enjoys the colors. Neither is wrong. Every person brings their own experiences into a piece, and because of that, every painting quietly becomes something different depending on who's standing in front of it.

I think that's one of the greatest gifts art can give us.

In high school, I had the opportunity to exhibit my work in two art shows, one in Georgia and another in Florida. Those experiences gave me my first glimpse into what it felt like to share something deeply personal with complete strangers. I didn't know it then, but they planted a dream that would continue growing for years.

I went on to earn my Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising with a concentration in Brand Management from the University of Georgia. During that time, I fell in love with another side of creativity through branding, marketing, photography, web development, and visual storytelling. Today, alongside my work as an artist, I continue helping entrepreneurs and growing businesses build brands they are proud of through freelance web development and marketing strategy. There's something incredibly rewarding about helping someone bring their dream to life.

The beginning of my business came from one of the hardest seasons of my life.

After losing my first golden retriever, Gordon Ramsay, I experienced a kind of grief that changed me. Around that same time, complications from my autoimmune disease caused me to lose feeling in my hands, making traditional painting something I wasn't sure I could continue doing.

Creating had always been how I made sense of the world, and suddenly the thing that had always brought me peace felt uncertain.

Instead of letting go of creativity, I found another way to hold onto it.

That's how Ramsay Digitals was born.

What started as digital artwork quickly became a business centered around memorial portraits, branding, photography, and creative storytelling. Having spent years involved in the rescue community, memorial paintings became deeply personal to me. I understood that our animals are never just pets. They're family. They witness chapters of our lives that no one else does. Every portrait became an opportunity to preserve a love that deserved to be remembered.

Those pieces still hold a very special place in my heart.

As time passed and I slowly found my way back to painting, I realized something had changed.

I had changed.

Ramsay Digitals had become something beautiful, but it no longer reflected everything I wanted to create. Photography still inspired me. Branding still challenged me. Writing became woven into every collection. Mixed media opened doors I never expected. I found myself creating without limits, and I realized I didn't want to spend my life introducing myself by one medium when creativity has never worked that way for me.

That's how Ramsay Studio Art came to life.

It wasn't simply a new name.

It was a return to the artist I had always been.

There have been seasons where creating came easily, and there have been seasons where it felt almost impossible.

Living with autoimmune disease has meant learning to adapt over and over again. Then, just as life seemed to settle into a new rhythm, I was diagnosed with cancer.

There are some experiences that change the way you see everything.

Cancer was one of them.

It reminded me how precious time really is. It taught me not to keep placing dreams on the back burner waiting for the "perfect" time. It gave me the courage to finally begin building things that had quietly lived in my heart for years, including a podcast series centered around art, business, creativity, and the stories that shape us.

Through every unexpected turn, my faith became the foundation I kept returning to.

I am a strong believer, and I truly believe the Lord carried me through every season of uncertainty. Through autoimmune disease, through losing Gordon, through cancer, and through every moment I questioned what was next, I experienced His faithfulness in ways I can't fully put into words. I believe He healed me, restored me, and gently reminded me that the gifts He gives us are meant to be shared.

For a long time, I thought art was simply something I loved to do.

Now I believe it's part of my calling.

I don't think I was given the ability to create just to make something beautiful. I believe I was given that gift to speak life into others through what I create. Whether that's a painting that brings someone peace, a memorial piece that preserves a cherished memory, helping a small business discover its identity, or a conversation through my podcast that reminds someone they aren't alone, my hope is always the same.

To leave people better than I found them.

Acts of service have always been one of the ways I express love, and creating is mine.

My greatest hope isn't simply that someone hangs one of my paintings on their wall.

I hope it becomes part of their story.

I hope it reminds them of someone they love, a season they overcame, a dream they finally chose to chase, or simply brings a little more joy into their home every time they walk by it.

If someone stands in front of one of my paintings and feels hope, comfort, peace, nostalgia, or even something they can't quite explain, then the work has already become something far greater than I could have imagined.

Because to me, the greatest works of art don't just decorate a wall. They become part of someone's life.
